Our mission and vision within PANVEL is to bring the pleasure and art of gelato making to the Montenegrin market and, together with the right partner, reach the highest standards of quality in the production of premium gelato. We have embarked on this long-term journey with Leagel, a company that has achieved a leading position in the gelato industry thanks to the unique quality of its products and what is currently considered the best development center in the gelato sector.

Leagel was founded in 1991, born from what is the perfect ingredient for business success: passion. A passion for “good things” and first-choice ingredients for excellent gelato. With great determination and a clear vision, Tonino Leardini founded Leagel and, together with his wife, decided to invest his twenty years of experience as a gelato maker into semi-finished products that carry his name. This experience immediately led to the creation of a wide range of products made according to traditional recipes and using the best available production technologies.
Giovanni Calabrò
In 1994, a key milestone was marked by the meeting between the founder and Mr. Giovanni Calabrò, also a former gelato maker, a professional with extensive experience in the sector and strong commercial skills acquired mainly abroad. Mr. Calabrò joined Leagel’s corporate structure, and the three partners combined their strengths with the goal of making Leagel a meeting point for gelato makers from all over the world.
Growth and the Pursuit of Perfection
Over the past twenty-five years, Leagel has experienced continuous growth, both in terms of customer expansion and product range development. This evolution has led to the creation of a 10,000-square-meter facility that includes a high-tech production and storage area, a research team dedicated to selecting the finest raw materials, a meticulous quality control department, and highly qualified professionals who work with passion every day.
